Welcome to the Counselling and Family Therapy Centre 

The Centre is an accredited specialist clinic that offers various therapeutic approaches for psychotherapy and counselling services. We strive to improve the lives of at-risk residents through therapeutic groups, individual counselling and psychotherapy, seminars, and educational events. Our services promote self-esteem, psychological well-being, and respect for oneself and others in society.

We offer clinical family and systemic therapy. Mental health support, marriage and family therapy, child and family therapy, online counselling services, education, and training. Our education and training programs are available for: Health professionals and voluntary and non-government organizations. And delivered through seminars, presentations, and short courses, as well as CPD-certificated programs.

Counselling and Family Therapy Centre aims to:

• EMPOWER all people’s wellness journeys through access to reliable, unbiased, mental health information. • SUPPORT disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals in improving their mental and social well-being. • EDUCATE about mental health issues, treatments, the process of therapy, and the differences between healthy and unhealthy therapy. • CHALLENGE the myths, stereotypes, and stigmas that can surround mental health issues and treatment and that prevent people from getting and accessing help. • FACILITATE a community of therapists, health professionals and treatment providers who believe in and adhere to principles of ethical therapy and are committed to reducing harm in therapy. • SUSTAIN compassionate, collaborative partnerships through access to quality continuing education events, up-to-date therapy news and information, and resources related to ethics and power dynamics in therapy.
